BISSELL PowerGlide Lift-Off Vacuum {A Mom’s Review}

This post brought to you by BISSELL Homecare, Inc.. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s no big revelation that I am a mom. My blog centers around my love of being a stay at home mom and the fun projects and activities that keep us busy! There are only 24 hours in a day and I can’t do it all. Some things fall by the wayside. For me, the thing that is over looked the most is my truck! I’m about to share some pretty embarrassing photos here. Don’t judge. I’ve met people who have clean homes and clean cars, but I can only attempt to keep up with my house. My grandparents had an immaculate house and their car always looked like it was brand new. It could be the fact that we weren’t allowed to eat in it. My car is trashed because we always eat in it. We drive a lot and travel a lot. There’s just no way around that.

Here you will see: wet wipes with ink on them because Kaylee got marker all over her hands. A picnic blanket, dust, dirt, crumbs and some pink stuff. I think it was from a cupcake. I decided to try out my new BISSELL PowerGlide with Life-Off Technology vacuum and see if it simplified the process of tackling the nastiness.

It. Was. Awesome. The Lift-Off feature allows me to ditch the main roller bar and frame and bring the canister with me. The TurboBrush and crevice tool were great for getting into the hard places like carseats and under the seats. When I was finished, I simply dumped out the dirt into the trash can in the garage, wrapped up the cord, brought the canister back into the house and put it back on the frame with one click.

Much better.

I also love how my BISSELL tackles every day messes and chores inside the house. The suction is amazing. The carpet always looks new when I finish vacuuming up goldfish crackers, popcorn, and the sand that gets tracked in from the sandbox in the backyard.

I use the same Lift-Off feature to vacuum my stairs. This used to be one of my least favorite things to do. Trying to balance the entire vacuum on the stairs while I make my way up each one. With the Lift-Off feature, the canister is light and I can carry it with me or set it easily down on the steps. It is small enough that it won’t fall off. The TurboBrush spins and fluffs up the carpet just as well as the roller bar in the vacuum frame.

I am in love with my new BISSELL. Check out how BISSELL Celebrates Everyday Messes and get some great cleaning tips on their site.

    I have seen a lot worse messes in people’s cars, so yours doesn’t look bad to me at all!! I am glad to see this review by someone I know will give an honest review. I want a new vacuum and didn’t know what to go with and didn’t want to spend tons of money on one! Thanks!!

      Thanks Brenda, that makes me feel better! I really love this vacuum. I’ve always bought the ones with bags, this is my first bag-less and I love it so much more. It has some great features and still comes in under $200. Good luck!!
