This is Dallin. Dallin is 11 years old and is an all around awesome kid! He loves his dog, riding his bike, fishing, camping, and scouts. His favorite part about Cub Scout Day Camp was getting to shoot BB guns. He told us that it was something he would like to get someday. It really did seem like the perfect gift for such a great kid, and on the top of the list of gifts for boys. He even came up with a list of 5 reasons Every Boy Should Have a BB Gun.

5 Reasons Every Boy Should Have a BB Gun

1.  If they want to hunt they can practice.

2. It will help them with aim.

3. They are fun.

4. It will help practice for Scout Camp.

5. It isn’t as dangerous as other guns.

We were sold. He is a responsible, obedient, and cautious boy so we decided to get him a Daisy BB Gun! Complete with a container of BBs and protection glasses.

Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas

After receiving some safety tips from dad about proper handling of a gun, where/where NOT to aim, and how to load it, he was ready to try it out!

Red Ryder for Christmas

How excited would your little boy be to receive his own Daisy BB gun for Christmas this year?

When I went to Walmart to pick up Dallin’s, an older gentleman walked past my cart and did a double-take. Then he came back and said, “You must have a very excited little boy at home!”. I told him that my 11 year old was going to flip when he saw that we bought him a BB gun. He smiled and said, “GOOD FOR YOU!”. I bet it brought back memories of his own childhood.

I’m giving away a $100 Walmart Gift Card so that you can purchase a Daisy BB gun of your own.

To enter, simply answer the following question in a comment below!

  1. Aimee says

i would gift one to my nephew who is a Boy Scout and always looking for more activities. I love that your son wrote that list!

  2. Tiffiny says

After watching her brothers learn and practice with their BB guns (with lots of supervision) and taking a few aided shots herself, my little girl has been asking for a “pretty purple one” all her own.

  3. says

I would to my own boys who are 10 and 12. My Dad always said that you should know how to shoot a gun. You never know when you might have to and knowing also teaches safety and respect for them as well.

  4. Laurie Logan says

I’d gift one to my granddaughter. Her cousin has one and she longs for one, too. I think it’s great your son showed such reasoned initiative for one of his own!

  5. Myeshia Underwood says

My nephew. He has shown a lot of interest in going hunting with my dad! This would be a great gift! Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. grace says

Oh wow, good thing I am not reading this by my 10 yrs old boy .. he would stand behind me and would say “hey, I want a BB gun too” :-) Anyhoo, thank you for such a generous giveaway — if I can take home the gift card, there will be a very happy boy in Christmas or birthday (only 1 week away from each other) who will finally own his own BB gun.

  7. Brittney says

I would give a BB Gun to either Sadee, whom has an amazing shot, or Elijah! It’s time for him to start learning how to use a gun.

  8. says

Way to go for your son to give reasons why he wanted one instead of just saying “I want one!” It’s much more convincing for a parent to give a gift knowing the child can logically think about why they want one. He sure does look excited, what a fun activity for family time! #client

  9. says

Oh I would love to gift this to my son! He has always wanted one, and I have held off just not quiet sure about them. After reading your post, I think it is important for them to understand them and learn how to handle them.
