This darling Step2 Rudolph the Rocking Reindeer is just right for imaginative play this holiday season. This post contains affiliate links.
Hi friends! It’s me, the cutest little 2-year-old around, just stopping by to share one of my favorite toys with you. I’ve been rocking and scooting all over the house on my reindeer rocker.
(details on the darling Step 2 advent calendar in the background can be found here)
I helped my mom put it together with a screwdriver and it only took 5 minutes to assemble!
It’s lightweight and easy to drag around the house. It would be easy to bring to Grandma’s house, too!
And it rocks! The nose is kind of squishy, and I figured out that if you pinch it—it’ll squeak. That made me laugh. If you like this rocker, you’ll LOVE my T-rex dinosaur rocker!
My little Step2 Rudolph the Rocking Reindeer is super fun!

Note from my mommy: I love toys that inspire imaginative play. This is just one of the many toys from Step2 that I love for this reason. He can rock and play and get out energy and it stores easily in the corner when not in use!
Research has found that there is a link between make-believe play and a child’s development of creativity and social skills.
Imaginative play is so important for development and helps children build social skills. Make-believe play with others helps children learn how to share ideas, and be open to other children’s thoughts and opinions. I love watching my kids come up with make-believe scenes and scenarios. It makes me miss my childhood days that were so care-free and fun!
