Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix with required eggs, oil, and water
  • 1 c. butter softened
  • 4 1/2 c. powdered sugar sifted
  • 1/2 c. powdered pre-sweetened lemonade mix
  • 1/4 c. whole milk or heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Make the cupcakes according to the package instructions. Let cool.

  2. In a mixing bowl beat butter until fluffy.

  3. Add sugar and lemonade mix. Beat.

  4. Add milk and vanilla. Mix for a couple of minutes until nice and fluffy using an electric mixer.

  5. Use a rubber spatula to mix by hand for 1 minute. This will create a glossier frosting.

  6. Pipe or spread frosting onto cupcakes.
