Ingredients
Chocolate Fondue
1bagmilk or semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4cupheavy whipping cream
Apple slices, banana slices, strawberries, marshmallows, etc.
Cheese Fondue
8oz.block monterey jack cheesecolby, medium cheddar, or sharp cheddar
1canevaporated milkmay need a little more to thin out fondue if necessary.
2Tbsp.flour
1/2teaspoonsalt
pinch of ground pepper
pinch of nutmegoptional
Cubed baguette and/or baby carrots and apple slices
Broth Fondue
3cupschicken broth
splashsoy sauce
1teaspoonminced garlic
Instructions
Chocolate Fondue
Heat cream and chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
Pour into fondue pot or bowl and serve with dippables.
Cheese Fondue
Shred cheese.
Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally for the first three minutes.
Stir constantly for two more minutes, or until melted, bubbly, thickened and smooth.
If fondue is too thick, add evaporated milk a quarter-cup at a time until it’s the consistency you want. Pour into fondue pot or bowl and serve with dippables.
Broth Fondue
Fill the fondue pot halfway with chicken broth, a teaspoon of minced garlic, and a couple of splashes of soy sauce, and heat until it simmers.
Cook small pieces of meat on skewers until the meat is done (no pink) and the shrimp turns pink.
