No Sew Felt Candy Cane Holders

These felt candy cane holders are a quick, no-sew project and are so fun for the holidays. Make Santa, a gingerbread man, or a snowman!

Materials

Instructions

  • Use our printable template as a guide for cutting out your felt pieces. We'll make a Santa candy cane holder together, but the process for the snowman and gingerbread man are the same.
    NOTE: For the BEST visual, watch our step by step video. I show how to make ALL 3 designs!
  • Glue the face felt piece to one of the Santa body pieces.
    Add a circle of hot glue around the edge for the beard.

  • Glue the beard, mustache and nose onto Santa.

  • Glue the hat, brim and hat pom pom.
    Glue the belt, and belt buckle pieces to the body.

  • Use fabric paint to add eyes and any other details you'd like.

  • Hot glue around the head and sides of the second Santa body piece. MAKE SURE to leave a 1/2" gap by the neck for the candy canes to slide through. (See photo)

  • Place the top Santa piece on top of the bottom piece and press.
    Slide the bottom of a candy cane through the small gap near the neck. Repeat on the other side.

Notes

  1. You can machine stitch, hand sew, or glue these candy cane holders together. Gluing is the fastest and best method if making these for a crowd or making them with kids.
  2. Use fabric paint or hand stitch details.
