Instructions
Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute. Stir until melted and smooth.
Dip Oreo cookies into chocolate using a fork. Tap the fork against the side of the bowl to remove excess then place the chocolate-dipped cookie on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.Tip: along with tapping the fork against the side of the bowl, slide the bottom of the fork across the edge of the bowl right before transferring the cookie to parchment paper. This removes even more excess chocolate and prevents it from pooling on the paper.
Repeat with a second cookie then stack the cookie on top of the first cookie.
Add gold sprinkles and let cookies set up.

Notes
You can cover them with melted chocolate chips, melting wafers, or chocolate almond bark. You'll just need 12 ounces of whatever you choose. You'll also need some sort of small gold candy or sprinkles. You can make stacks with 2 or 3 cookies. 2 cookies are easier to bit into, but 3 cookies are fun too.
