Slow Cooker Lasagna

Slow cooker lasagna is ridiculously easy to make! You don't even need to boil the pasta. Layer everything in the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 (24 oz.) jars of spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) package lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese 2 cups
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese the cheap stuff
  • 16 oz. mozzarella cheese 2 cups

Instructions

  • Brown beef in skillet. Drain fat. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning and spaghetti sauce.
  • Bring to a simmer then remove from heat.In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  • For easy clean up, line the slow cooker with a cooking liner. Pour 1/3 of the sauce mixture into the slow cooker. Add 5-6 lasagna noodles over sauce. Break them to fit if necessary. Spoon 1/3 of the cheese mixture over noodles. Repeat layering the sauce, noodles and cheese until the ingredients are gone.
  • Cook on LOW 4-6 hours, or until noodles are tender.
