Baked peaches and cream is one of my favorite desserts. Fresh peaches are baked with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon then served with ice cream. The simple caramel sauce from butter and sugar is amazing. Don't forget to spoon any leftovers over the ice cream!

vanilla ice cream
Cut fresh peaches in half. Remove pit. Place in a baking dish.
Slice butter into thin slices and place a small square over each peach (about half of a talespoon per peach)
Spoon 1 teaspoon of brown sugar over each peach half.
Sprinkle with cinnamon (to taste).
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
