Ingredients
1/2cupbutter
1/2cupshortening
1 1/2cupssugar
2eggs
2 3/4cupsall-purpose flour
2teaspoonscream of tartar
1teaspoonbaking soda
1/4teaspoonsalt
8oz.container rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter, shortening, and sugar with an electric hand mixer or stand mixer. Beat in eggs.
In a separate bowl whisk flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together.
Combine dry ingredients with butter mixture.
Scoop cookies, using a medium cookie scoop, then roll in sprinkles, making sure to cover the everything. Pat down cookie slightly then place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper (I usually bake 6 cookies per sheet).
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool for 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
