Fluffy Fabric Flip Flops

Scrap fabric flip flops are so fun and funky. We call them “Fluffy Flip Flops”. One of the best flip-flops crafts for kids! A quick and easy summer camp project for girls and a great way to use up fabric scraps. Create patterns or tie the strips on randomly, the choice is yours!

Equipment

  • 1 pair of flip flops
  • fabric scraps
  • scissors

Instructions

  • Cut 1″ strips of fabric in varying lengths. (8″ is a nice length).

  • Tie each fabric strip onto the flip flop straps in a double knot (a single knot won't hold the fabric secure enough). Continue adding strips until the flip flops and fluffy and full.

  • Give them a trim when you are finished so that the strips are the same length and won’t drag on the ground.

Notes

Note: You can tie them really close together (you’ll need about 20 strips for each flip flop) or space them further apart.
