Ingredients

  • 3 pound chuck roast
  • 1 package dried onion soup mix
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth

Instructions

  • Slow cooker French dip sandwiches take just minutes to prepare and simmer all day.
  • Place a chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  • Top with dry onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 6 hours.
  • Remove the roast and shred it with forks.
  • Pour drippings (au jus) into a glass measuring cup. Allow it to sit for a few minutes then spoon the fat off of the top. You can also use a fat separator.
  • Toast rolls then fill with shredded roast.
  • Divide au jus into cups and serve with the sandwich for dipping.
