    Always Eat After 7 {Part 4}

    The Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.

    Right now I'm in the Main Phase because I'm not at my ideal weight. I'm looking forward to making it to the Lifestyle Phase which is maintaining my goal weight, but I have a long way to go. It isn't easy breaking bad eating habits, but this program definitely helps. I have energy and WANT to do things to keep this feeling going. The kids and I have been going on 4 mile walks together, and exploring the state parks in our area. We've incorporated more smoothies into our diet, and recently upgraded our blender to make that easier. Baby steps.

    Final Thoughts: The Always Eat After 7 PM book is a great jump start and definitely gave me more guidance on intermittant fasting. In the past when I'd fast I'd eat WHATEVER I wanted and just stopped eating after dinner. As you can imagine, I didn't lose much weight. With the lifestyle changes shared by Joel Marion, I'm eating healthier, filling up on protein earlier in the day, and adding carbs later. I'm snacking after the kids go to bed (still getting in my chocolate!) and earning cheat days by working out.

    The recipes and meal ideas are delicious, and being supplemented with my own, and I have more energy!
