Add remaining ingredients, EXCEPT for the noodles.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 4-5 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
Remove chicken and chop into bite-sized pieces. Place the chicken back into the slow cooker. Add noodles, stir.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 45 minutes or until frozen noodles are soft.
Serve in bowls as soup or over mashed potatoes and a biscuit.

Stove Top InstructionsIn a large stockpot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add onions, carrots, and garlic, and cook until onions are translucent. Add the remaining ingredients, except the noodles, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook until the carrots are soft and the chicken is cooked through, 20-30 minutes. Remove chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces. Add the chicken back to the pot, then add the noodles. Cook until noodles are soft.
