Ingredients
- 12 pizzelle cookies
- 3 cups ice cream
Instructions
- Place a generous scoop of ice cream on to a pizzelle.
- Gently press the ice cream down with your hands--- yes your hands! Then place the second cookie on top and gently press the sandwich together. Using your hands prevents the cookie from cracking.
- Freeze for 15 minutes to allow ice cream to harden again.
- Cover pizzelles with plastic wrap in freezer if not eating right away. This keeps the ice cream fresh.
