Ingredients

softened

brown sugar

white sugar

molasses

teaspoon
baking soda

chocolate chips
Instructions
Cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Beat until light in color and fluffy.
Mix in oil, egg, vanilla, and molasses. Add dry ingredients. Mix in chocolate chips.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Roll the cookie dough into TEASPOON-sized balls (not tablespoon).
Place on a cookie sheet. Note: You can easily bake 24 cookies at a time on a half sheet pan.
Bake cookies for 11-12 minutes. Cookies should be lightly golden.
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet. They will crisp as they cool.
