Meltaway Crunch Bars

The BEST homemade crunch bars recipe. These have peanut butter in them so they aren't an identical copycat recipe, but if you like peanut butter meltaway candy you'll LOVE this variation! Chocolate, rice krispies, and peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips any king
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter crunchy or creamy
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  • Line a small baking sheet or 9x13" baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Add chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Stir in cereal.
  • Spread mixture onto parchment paper. If using a baking sheet larger than 9x13 just spread the mixture out into a 9x13" rectangle, about 1/4" thick.
  • Refergerate for 30 minutes then cut into 16 bars.
