Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray (or line it with parchment paper).
Stir cake mix and canned pumpkin together in a large mixing bowl until just mixed.
Stir in chocolate chips (you can reserve some to add on top of the cookies before baking if you'd like).
Scoop using a medium cookie scoop (2 Tbsp.) onto the cookie sheet.
Bake cookies for 13 minutes. Allow them to stand on the cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring the cookies to a wire cooling rack.
