Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies
Jumbo chocolate chip cookies that are soft, chewy, baked evenly, and delicious! These make GREAT gifts! 1 cookie = 4 regular sized cookies. Make bakery style chocolate chip cookies at home!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 ½ cup all purpose flour
- 2 ½ cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips divided (or chocolate chunks)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl using an electric mixer or stand mixer.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Mix.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Stir in 2 c. chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough, using a cookie scoop, onto ungreased cookie sheets (2 cookies per baking sheet) using a ½ measuring cup or scoop.
- Press dough down to flatten slightly. Sprinkle each cookie with a few extra chocolate chips.
- Bake 16 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool 3-5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
