Baked peaches and cream is one of my favorite desserts. Fresh peaches are baked with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon then served with ice cream. The simple caramel sauce from butter and sugar is amazing. Don't forget to spoon any leftovers over the ice cream!

Baked peaches is such a simple dessert, but packs a ton of flavor. The fresh peaches, the combination of butter and brown sugar, and the sprinkling of cinnamon. Add a scoop of ice cream and it tastes just like a slice of peach pie a la mode (minus the crust). The perfect summer dessert during peach season, and one that doesn't require any fancy ingredients!

You can easily adjust this recipe depending on how many people you plan on serving. You'll need a peach half, ½ T. butter and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar for each serving. My recipe below serves 8.

    Baked Peaches Ingredients

    • 4 peaches, halved
    • 4 Tbsp. butter, sliced thin into 8 pieces
    • 8 teaspoons brown sugar
    • cinnamon (to taste)

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Place peach halves into a baking dish. Place a small square of butter in the center of each peach half.
    3. Add a teaspoon of brown sugar over the butter on each peach.
    4. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    5. Bake for 15 minutes.
    6. Serve peaches with vanilla ice cream.

Note: don't let any of that yummy butter and brown sugar sauce go to waste. Drizzle any leftovers over the ice cream before serving!

These little peaches totally hit the spot and comes together faster than cobbler or peach pie.
