Halloween Treat Buckets

I have a thing for cute candy dishes and buckets. Maybe it is just my excuse to constantly buy candy to fill them?

I love the neon colors in these FolkArt Multi-Surface Paints. They are so bright, fun and PERFECT for Halloween ANNNNNDDDDD….they glow under black light! Fun, right? We got busy decorating some little buckets that I picked up for $1 several months back. This is a great kids activity!

The beauty of multi surface paint is that you can decorate glass, metal, or wood and the paint is (top rack) dishwasher safe. I’m thinking maybe some custom made hot cocoa mugs for the winter are in order.

It goes on smooth and is super easy to work with.

I painted the eyes in neon colors so that they will glow under black lights. My husband actually has a decent collection of black lights, strobe lights, a fog machine, and other items he bought when he was a teenager and wanted to be a DJ. He’s awesome.

Let dry completely. Fill with candy!
