Salted Caramel Rice Krispies Treats

Many recipes for caramel Rice Krispies treats call for heavy cream, corn syrup, and precise cooking using a candy thermometer. This recipe skips all of that and you still get a delicious sweet and salty caramel Rice Krispies treat! I use this SAME recipe to make my marshmallow caramel corn (in the microwave). That delicious, gooey, caramel sauce was simply too delicious to only be used over popcorn. These caramel treats are so EASY to make, and yes, they are made in the microwave too!
