Chocolate covered pretzels are easy, and delicious, but CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PRETZELS are simply amazing. We’ve been making these for years. My husband used to make chocolate pretzels for his coworkers at Christmas (now I usually send English toffee to the office with him). He made all different kinds, and peanut butter was always our favorite.
I usually have the ingredients on hand so they are a great late night snack to whip up—this is a no judgement zone.
Mac had fun making them with me for the video. He kept said, “These are amazing. These are SO yummy. These are my favorite.”

Tried this today. Glad I only did a few, as I thought this might happen. As soon as you dip the pretzel into the melted chocolate, the peanut butter starts melting, and running

You can see by looking at my photos and video that this didn’t happen for me and honestly, hasn’t ever happened. Let the chocolate cool for a few minutes before dipping. It doesn’t need to be piping hot.

I couldn’t find small pretzel rods like you show here. I’m thinking of breaking the bigger rods (7 1/2 inches) in half since no one will see the broken end as it’ll be covered in PB and chocolate. Interested to hear your thoughts on using that method.
Brandy says
I think that would work just fine!
