Four Sweet & Savory Appetizer Recipes with RITZ Crackers

Four sweet & savory party appetizers that can each be prepared in 10 minutes or less. Hosting a get together with friends? Going to a potluck? Want a sweet snack to share with the family? We’ve got you and your entertaining needs covered!

I’m the queen at starting a recipe without making sure that I have all of the ingredients that I need. It’s lead to many creative substitutions over the years, and many new flavor combinations! I’ve become pretty good at scanning my pantry and coming up with a tasty snack with a few basic ingredients. Necessity is the mother of invention, right? One thing that I always have, as a mother of five, are crackers. RITZ Crackers make great little snack canvases. You can pretty much pair them with anything and instantly they become a delicious appetizer to share!

Here are 4 easy appetizers that are all made with cream cheese and RITZ Crackers that I picked up at Safeway.

Are you hosting a get together with girlfriends? Perhaps a baby shower or book club?

These Mini Cherry Chocolate Chip Cheesecakes are a great finger food dessert!

Going to a game night?

Bring along a platter of Jalapeño Popper Toppers! Pop them in the oven right before serving, they only take 5 minutes to heat!

Looking for a sweet after dinner treat to share with the family?

RITZ Strawberry Cheesecake Bites are made from ingredients that you probably already have on hand.

In the mood for a bite sized version of a favorite sandwich? Top a RITZ with your favorite tuna or chicken salad!

My smoked almond chicken salad packs a punch in the flavor department and be customized in so many different ways.

Combine all four recipes for a party spread that caters to everyone’s tastes. Sweet, salty, rich, and savory! I found the recipes for my Jalapeño Popper Toppers and RITZ Strawberry Cheesecake Bites here and it got my creative juices flowing to see what other sweet and savory appetizers that I could come up with!

This kid knows a good thing when he sees it. Anyti This kid knows a good thing when he sees it. Anytime my camera and tripod go up, he’s right there waiting. Today we made our favorite green smoothie. It’s all about balance—-just kidding. We all know that’s a lie. I have like 10 healthy recipes on my site and 800 breads and desserts. 😂

Tip: when buying produce, buy extra to freeze. I buy an extra pineapple, an extra package of grapes, an extra bunch of bananas and an extra bag of spinach and freeze them for smoothies. I slice everything up and freeze it on baking sheets then bag it up. It makes it easy to grab a handful to toss into a blender. You can freeze entire bags of spinach too and add a handful to smoothies. I always blend my spinach and water first then add the rest of the fruit. No little spinach chunks in the smoothie that way. 🙌🏻

A great project to work on during Christmas break. She’s making herself a pink one after Christmas. We bought several colors of bulky yarn at Walmart for $2.97 each. Each skein makes 1 hat. Tomorrow is all about gingerbread cookies for Sant Tomorrow is all about gingerbread cookies for Santa (although the Santa who comes to our house prefers sugar cookies. He can share these with Mrs. Claus). Ruby has them all picked out—-gingerbread boys, gingerbread girls, and ninja-bread cookies. Should be fun. Had to go out and get more molasses and it wasn’t easy to find! Everyone else must be making gingerbread, too!

Gnomes and llamas made their way to our Christmas Gnomes and llamas made their way to our Christmas cookies this year and I’m wondering why we didn’t use them before! So cute ($1 at Target). My 9 year old decorated most of the cookies that you see in this photo. I taught her how to use a piping bag, a star tip, and a round tip last year and she hit the ground running. Check out our stories for 6 cookie tutorials for kids using the same frosting tips!
