Crispy on the edges, chewy and soft in the center. These deep dish Halloween cookies are packed with M&Ms. Make sure to enjoy them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So delicious and gooey! This post contains an affiliate link.

What is it about jumbo cookies that make them so much fun? Our chocolate chip skillet cookie is always a crowd pleaser, and our deep dish Valentine cookies were the most popular recipe on the website last spring!

You can customize these cookies for any holiday, but today we're focusing on Halloween. I picked up a giant container of Halloween M&Ms at Sam's Club, determined to use them all in Halloween baking. These cookies barely dented the container. Looks like we'll have to make more!

The baking liners that I use are not to be confused with muffin liners. These are much thicker and are coated with a non stick surface inside. They are perfect for deep dish cookies and tarts.

Note: the link above is for purple baking cups. The colors fluctuate depending on stock, but they usually have red and purple. Here are some orange ones that’d work too! They are an inch smaller, but that doesn’t really matter.

Because the cookies are the size of 4 cookies, they are perfect to share.

Our favorite way to eat our deep dish cookies is straight out of the oven. Add a scoop of ice cream and a couple of candy eyes. Mac loves adding "frinkles" (sprinkles), too.

Tip for making THE BEST M&M cookies: Each bite contains bits of M&Ms. This is because I chop the candies before adding them to the dough! If you haven't tried making M&M cookies this way---you need to try it! No need to pulverize the candy, just a coarse chop.

How Big Are These Deep Dish Cookies?

½ cup scoops of cookie dough in baking cups

How big are they? Each liner is filled with a ½ cup of cookie dough. Yep, ½ of a cup!

You'll want to flatten the dough with your hands before baking

Then add a few extra M&Ms on top before placing them into the hot oven.

One batch makes 10 deep dish M&M cookies (or 6 deep dish cookies + 1 dozen regular sized cookies).

    How To Reheat Cookies

Like any cookie, they are best right out of the oven, but will stay fresh for a few days if stored in an air tight container.

To reheat cookies, microwave for 5-8 seconds.

Is it just me or do the sprinkles look like eyelashes? Ha!
