Mini Key Lime Pies (Made With Lime Yogurt!)

Filed Under: Dessert Recipes, Kids in the Kitchen, Parties, Recipes Tagged With: no bake

When it comes to making pie, it doesn’t get any more effortless than these mini key lime pies. Seasonal berries, lime yogurt, and whipped cream layered in mini graham cracker pie crusts!

Mini Key Lime Pies

These mini pies are fun to customize— and the best part? They are no-bake and perfect for summer entertaining!

The summer temps have already made their appearance here in Northern California. It also coincided with the week that our air conditioning stopped working! It was just as warm indoors as it was outdoors so we took advantage of the shade in the backyard for a deliciously refreshing pie bar. You could easily make these ahead of time and keep them in the freezer until it is time to serve, but my kids LOVED customizing their own. Dessert bars are just fun!

Mini Key Lime Pie Ingredients

  • Whipped Cream: Cool Whip, canned whipped cream, or homemade whipped cream.
  • Yogurt: any kind of lime yogurt will work. Yogurt is a great time saver and such a great way to make mini-cream pies!
  • Fruit: a variety of fresh fruits to add to the pies. This is optional, but I love the added texture and flavor. Especially raspberries.
  • Mini pie crusts: I buy the premade graham cracker crusts from the grocery store, but you can make your own if you’d like.

I filled a platter with seasonal berries, several containers of lime yogurt (1 container is enough for 2 mini pies), mini graham cracker pie crusts, and a can of whipped cream. The sweetness from the crusts and whipped cream balanced out the tart yogurt and berries perfectly. You could use any yogurt, but I LOVE key lime so that was an obvious choice for me!

How To Make Mini Key Lime Yogurt Pies

  1. Fill each mini pie crust with a layer of fresh fruit.
  2. Spoon yogurt over the fruit.
  3. Add a swirl of whipped cream, then garnish with fresh fruit and graham cracker crumbs (optional).

We had Key Lime Blueberry, Key Lime Mixed Berry, Key Lime Raspberry, and Key Lime Strawberry pies!

These pies store well in the refrigerator or freezer for a few days (it just depends on how you like eating them—soft or frozen).
