My son’s friend had her wisdom teeth taken out a couple of weeks ago. Not only that, but she had jaw surgery at the same time! Talk about a bummer way to end the summer. We brought her a gift wisdom teeth gift basket with a cute printable card.

Wisdom teeth are overrated right? Nobody needs them. Well, actually, I still have a couple of mine! I wasn’t born with enough permanent teeth so my top wisdom teeth act as molars, but that’s beside the point, haha.
Ice Cream > Wisdom Teeth
MOST people have their wisdom teeth removed and it’s the pits. What helps brighten the situation is the hope of eating endless ice cream and frosted treats. Whether or not that actually happens is another story, but it’s the hope.

I grabbed an inexpensive tote from IKEA and picked up a bottle of chocolate milk, a carton of ice cream, and a super cozy throw. I love these throws, they feel so heavenly! We figured Roni wouldn’t be feeling that great and might want to snuggle in a blanket for a couple of days while she heals.

Another idea is to give a body pillow! My niece and nephew had their wisdom teeth removed last month and we sent them each a body pillow with plush cover and ice cream. Target does same day delivery and delivered the ice cream and pillows right to their door. It was AWESOME.
I cut two slits in the card, one on top and one on the bottom, and slid a ribbon into the slits. Then I wrapped the ribbon around the blanket and tied it in a knot on the back.
