Our Favorite Pasta Salad

This here is the perfect lunch. I could eat it several times a week. Pasta salad is fun to make and fun to switch up. Make a big batch and bring it to a summer potluck…but only if you don’t care about having any leftovers.
The beauty of this salad is that it is kind of a dump and go, clean out the refrigerator and pantry type of salad.
Just use whatever you have on hand and don’t forget the secret ingredient below. It will make whatever you throw in the salad taste AMAZING. The list below is what I usually use when I make this salad. The measurements aren’t exact. I change it up a bit each time I make it. And it is amazing the second day too. Perfect for lunch leftovers.
Our Favorite Pasta Salad
{Gluesticks}

1 10-12 oz. Box Colored Rotini Pasta (cooked according to directions on box/bag)
1 Cup dried cheese tortellini (cooked according to package) Optional.
1 small can sliced olives
1/2 c.diced green onions
1 bell pepper, diced
1 1/2 c. grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 c, diced pepperoni
1-2 jars marinated artichoke hearts, diced
Shredded Parmesan cheese (to taste)

You MUST use the following dressing:
Newman’s Own: Family Recipe Italian. I’ve used many different dressings over the years and this one is my absolute favorite for pasta salad!

Toss all ingredients into a large bowl. Pour 1/2 of the bottle of dressing over salad and mix. Chill salad for an hour and then add another 1/4 of the bottle if the pasta is looking dry. The dressing soaks into the pasta, so oftentimes it needs another coat of dressing before serving.

Refrigerate the salad until  ready to serve.
