Are you slightly obsessed with the Fannie May s’mores snack mix from Sam’s Club? I’m not a huge marshmallow fan, but those chewy chocolate coated marshmallows, mixed with the chocolate covered graham cracker cereal, are so addicting. One of my favorite things to do is recreate favorite treats at home, and this s’mores snack mix was SO EASY to recreate. Truth be told, it’s even better than the original. My kids were thrilled when I whipped up a batch at home!
I think what gives it better flavor is the graham cracker cereal that I used. I bought a box of Golden Grahams, which I think have a better flavor than the ones in the storebought mix. The Golden Grahams give the mix a slightly buttery flavor. Perfection.
One batch makes 9-10 cups of snack mix. You can store any leftovers in an air tight container.
Ingredients for S’mores Snack Mix
You’ll need 2-3 cups of mini marshmallows, 6 cups of Golden Grahams cereal, and 2 bags of milk chocolate chips. Can you use semi-sweet? Probably, but milk chocolate is sweeter and perfet for this snack mix.
I melted the chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring in between each 30-second interval, and poured them over the cereal and marshmallows in a large bowl. Then I poured the mixture over a wax paper-lined baking sheet and refrigerated it until firm.
Finally, I broke the mixture into bite-sized pieces!
Every single piece is completely coated in chocolate. Enjoy!

I love the sโmores mix but the last couple of batches Iโve made have hard marshmallows. The marshmallows are fresh and unopened when I start but a day after making the mix they are too hard to enjoy. I donโt know why. It never used to be a problem.
Brandy says
That is odd! Since they are covered in chocolate they shouldn’t get hard that quickly. I wonder why!

Oh I am so excited to try this! This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was going to try to wing it but decided I should at least look for a recipe. Thank you so much!! Also, the serving size might be a little off….or it might just be me but its gone in like 2 servings. haha!
Brandy says
Haha! It’s true. And a serving size of Oreos is only 2 cookies—insanity. Nobody just eats 2!

Love this recipe! I used dark chocolate (62%) as we donโt like milk chocolate sprinkled sea salt on top! So good!
Brandy says
So glad to hear!

The fannie may mix had some chewier marshmallow bites (almost like a Charleston chew center) and then some that just tasted like chocolate covered marshmallows. What makes the Chewier bites?
