This one-pot ravioli bake is so delicious and can be made with your favorite sauce and any type of ravioli. Today we're using sausage ravioli and adding spinach. A perfect weeknight meal!

    One Pot Ravioli Bake

I'm all about quick and easy meals, and this one pot ravioli bake is just that! Use your favorite kind of ravioli (cheese, chicken, spinach, sausage, or veggie) and a bottle of your favorite marinara sauce. A bit of cheese, maybe a handful or two of spinach and that's it!

You can bake this meal in a 9x13 casserole dish (using two layers of ravioli) or a Dutch oven (using 3 layers of ravioli), it really doesn't matter. You can layer the ingredients or toss it all together and top with a layer of cheese. See, I told you it was an easy meal!

    Frozen or Fresh Ravioli

You can use frozen or fresh ravioli for this meal. My favorite lately has been fresh so that's what I used this time. If you use a bag of frozen ravioli you may need to add 10-15 minutes to the baking time.

Here are some delicious flavor combinations to try!

    • Chicken ravioli + alfredo sauce
    • Cheese ravioli + vodka sauce
    • Sausage ravioli + marinara sauce
    • Spinach & ricotta ravioli + marinara sauce
    • Lobster ravioli + alfredo sauce

Have you ever tried using ½ alfredo sauce and ½ marinara sauce? It's delicious!

    Baked Ravioli Ingredients

(scroll to the end of the post for a printable verison)

bag of ravioli, bowl of cheese, parmesan cheese, pot, fresh spinach and jar of spaghetti sauce

    • 1 (18 oz.) bag ravioli
    • 1 (24 oz.) jar marinara sauce
    • 2 handfuls of fresh spinach (optional)
    • 1 ½-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

    serving spoonful of ravioli bake

    Ravioli Bake Instructions

    1. Add a spoonful or two of marinara to the bottom of your baking dish.
    2. Add a single layer of ravioli.
    3. Add a layer of cheese.
    4. Add a layer of spinach.
    5. Add ½ of the remaining sauce.
    6. Add a second layer of ravioli.
    7. Continue layering ingredients until you've run out. If using a Dutch oven you'll likely get 3 layers of ravioli. If using a 9x13 baking dish you might only have two layers. It doesn't matter how you do it or what order you layer them in. I just like ending with a layer of cheese on the top.
    8. Cover and bake ravioli in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
    9. Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for a minute or two, if desired.

    Ingredients

    • 18 oz. bag ravioli any flavor
    • 24 oz. jar marinara sauce
    • 1 ½-2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
    • 2 handfuls fresh spinach
    • ½ cup parmesan cheese

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    • Lightly spray baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Spoon a small amount of marinara sauce into the bottom of a baking dish or dutch oven.
    • Add a single layer of ravioli (about ⅓ of the bag).
    • Sprinkle with a handful of cheese.
    • Add a handful of spinach.
    • Pour half of the remaining sauce on top and spread with a spoon.
    • Add another layer of ravioli (⅓ of the bag).
    • Add a second layer of cheese.
    • Add a second handful of spinach.
    • Add remaining sauce over spinach and spread with a spoon.
    • Add remaining ravioli and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
    • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
    • Cover with foil or a lid and bake for 30 minutes.
    • Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes. Ravioli bake should be bubbly.
    • If you'd like to brown the cheese on top you can turn on the broiler for a minute or two (watch carefully to prevent burning). Serve with garlic bread and salad!

    Notes

The ravioli that I used was fresh (found in the refrigerator/fridge section). If using frozen ravioli you may need to adjust the baking time, adding 10-15 minutes or so.
If using a 9x13 baking dish you'll have 2 layers of ravioli, if using a Dutch oven you'll most likely have 3 layers.
For more of a lasagna flavor, consider adding some ricotta cheese to the layers.

Hi everyone! Brandy here, this is a great one-pot dinner when you don't have a lot of time and still want a homemade meal. I love the ease of store-bought raviolis. They are delicious and versatile!
