Evenings can be hectic, but dinner doesn't have to be. Our short cut stroganoff comes together in 30 minutes. Looking for an easy sheet pan dinner? Try our oven fajitas! This post was originally shared in 2012.

    What Is a Crescent Ring?

My kids love tacos and all variations of them. Taco rings are nothing new. Especially if you've been to a Pampered Chef party, but here is our spin on the traditional dish.
It's pretty basic, but looks so pretty! Crescent rings are filled with your favorite fillings like ham and cheese or cheese and pepperoni. We're making a taco ring so we will be filling ours with taco meat.
Once it has been rolled up you'll top it with cheese and bake until golden.

    • tomatoes
    • olives
    • cilantro
    • onions
    • salsa
    • taco sauce
    • sour cream
    • guacamole

    Can You Reheat Leftover Rolls?

Absolutely! Remove any toppings like lettuce and tomatoes and store leftover rolls in the refrigerator. Reheat in oven or toaster oven until warm.

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
    • 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
    • ¾ c. cheddar cheese
    • 2 tablespoon water
    • 2 8 oz refrigerated crescent rolls
    • Toppings

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 375
    • Brown ground turkey.
    • Stir in taco seasoning, water and ½ c. cheese.
    • Unroll crescent rolls and separate. Arrange triangles in a circle on a round baking stone with wide ends overlapping in center and points toward the outside. There should be about a 5 inch diameter in the center.
    • Scoop meat mixture evenly onto widest ends of dough at center of ring. Bring points in and over and tuck underneath the wide end. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    • Bake 20 -23 minutes or until golden brown.
    • You can garnish with bell pepper, lettuce, salsa, tomatoes, onion, sour cream, olives, etc. We like fresh pico de gallo.
