Bus Driver and Teacher Appreciation Gift Tags
Teacher Appreciation Week is generally celebrated the first full week in May. Here’s your heads up that it’s coming up, and I’m here with an EASY idea to send in with your child—for teachers AND bus drivers! These tags can be printed out and attached to a sweet treat any time of year or even given on the last day of school.
I created two versions and they come in a variety of colors! Simply print the sheets that you need. I’m slightly partial to the bus driver gift tag: THANKS FOR THE SWEET RIDE! We share our backyard chicken eggs with Miss Wendy, my son’s bus driver. He’s excited to bring her a sweet treat too!
5 Treat Recipes to Make for Bus Drivers and Teachers
Spoiler alert: I used store-bought mini bundt cakes for mine (yes, I’m a fraud), but they are always a hit and a great option for busy moms! That being said, if you’re looking to send in a homemade treat here are a few ideas!
- Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookies: baked in individual jumbo liners, these chocolate chip cookies are gooey, delicious, and large enough to be eaten with a fork!
- Mini Bundt Cakes: make your own mini bundt cakes with this semi-homemade recipe. Moist, delicious, and easily customizable.
- Homemade English Toffee: not just to be enjoyed during the holidays, you can make a batch of original English toffee or Churro toffee with my step-by-step instructions!
- Chocolate Covered Strawberries: my personal favorite. Save the plastic berry boxes that your product comes in and reuse them when packaging up the chocolate strawberries!
- EASY Hostess Cupcakes: make your own Hostess cupcakes (made with a cake mix). These are a show-stopping treat!
Easy Bus Driver and Teacher Gift Idea
Mini bundt cake (or cupcake) and printable tag.
I went to my local Nothing Bundt Cakes shop and a variety of these miniature bundt cakes. They are about $5 each and they offer a 10% military discount if you bring your ID. You can also get a small discount if you purchase a dozen. I went with basic flavors like chocolate, lemon, and vanilla, but they have so many yummy varieties. I wish that I was sponsored by them, haha, but I’m not. I just like stopping by the bakery and picking up these little cakes for gifts. They are always a hit!
The tags are the perfect size to attach to so many gifts and treats. Use glue dots, hot glue or tape then wrap with a ribbon, if desired.

5 Store-bought Treat Ideas for Teacher Appreciation Week
No time to bake? No worries! Here are 5 ideas to pick up at the grocery store. Simply add a tag!

How to Freeze Nothing Bundt Cakes (BundTlets)
Nothing Bundt Cakes recommends eating their cakes fresh, storing them at room temperature for 2 days, then refrigerating them for up to 5 days for best results. You CAN freeze them though. Because I’m planning on using them within 2 weeks I froze them in the little plastic containers that they came in. If planning to store for longer than 2 weeks I’d freeze them for a few hours to allow the frosting to harden, then wrap each bundtlet in a layer of plastic wrap and foil. They’ll last up to 3 months his way.
