Cut around the border then glue onto a piece of black card stock. Then punch a hole and string the tag onto your cookie package. I bake my deep dish cookies in these baking cups. They are nice and sturdy and make the perfect dish to eat the hot cookie out of. I placed each cookie in a cellophane bag and tied the tag using baker’s twine.
If you decide to make these cookies, be sure to let the teacher know that they are best served warm! Just heat in the microwave for 5-8 seconds and they’ll be all warm and gooey!

These are just the cutest things. Love the tags, love the cookies, love the packaging. All of it!
What a wonderful idea. I’m sure the teachers will be most apprecitative. In reading your profile I was struck by your comment regarding the “best years of life.” I recall reading one of James Herriot’s books years ago and he was reflecting on his younger life when raising children. He said the same thing – that raising children was the best time of his life. I’m now at that stage of looking back. It truly is a wonderful time and your blog indicates that you’re making the most of it. Enjoy and thanks for sharing!
My son starts kindergarten this year…I’m SO gonna make this one! Absolutely darling! Love it! Thanks so much.
