Printable Valentine’s Day Notes, Lunch Box Jokes & Coupons

My kids love reading and sharing jokes with each other. Especially the ones found on Laffy Taffy packaging. I remember my mom tucking a handwritten note into my lunch box when I was in elementary school and I STILL HAVE a few of those notes! So fun. I started making seasonal lunch box jokes to print out and they are always a hit. I have a little stack of them in the silverware drawer and occasionally pull one out to add to their lunch. Quick and easy, and something they can share with a friend!

Simply print and cut out! Couldn’t be any easier. My kids love Valentine’s Day coupons as well. I give these to them on Valentine’s Day with a tiny $.99 box of chocolates. Mom will do their chores for a day? Meaning that mom will clean up after the dog in the backyard for a day? Yeah, that’s a dream come true for any kid! 🙂

Super fun! I put lunch notes in my daughter’s lunch box everyday. Even though she balks at it, I think (deep down) she loves getting a little note. Will print out to include in February’s lunch. Visiting from Made By You Mondays.

Today we made our favorite green smoothie. It’s all about balance—-just kidding. We all know that’s a lie. I have like 10 healthy recipes on my site and 800 breads and desserts. 😂

Tip: when buying produce, buy extra to freeze. I buy an extra pineapple, an extra package of grapes, an extra bunch of bananas and an extra bag of spinach and freeze them for smoothies. I slice everything up and freeze it on baking sheets then bag it up. It makes it easy to grab a handful to toss into a blender. You can freeze entire bags of spinach too and add a handful to smoothies. I always blend my spinach and water first then add the rest of the fruit. No little spinach chunks in the smoothie that way. 🙌🏻

Tomorrow is all about gingerbread cookies for Sant Tomorrow is all about gingerbread cookies for Santa (although the Santa who comes to our house prefers sugar cookies. He can share these with Mrs. Claus). Ruby has them all picked out—-gingerbread boys, gingerbread girls, and ninja-bread cookies. Should be fun. Had to go out and get more molasses and it wasn’t easy to find! Everyone else must be making gingerbread, too!

Gnomes and llamas made their way to our Christmas Gnomes and llamas made their way to our Christmas cookies this year and I’m wondering why we didn’t use them before! So cute ($1 at Target). My 9 year old decorated most of the cookies that you see in this photo. I taught her how to use a piping bag, a star tip, and a round tip last year and she hit the ground running. Check out our stories for 6 cookie tutorials for kids using the same frosting tips!
