It is fall and fall means soup season. And chili, and stew, and anything warm and filling. Especially when it is made in the crockpot and fills your home with wonderful smells all day long! I pulled out my favorite turkey chili recipe right after sending the kids on the bus last week, put everything in my slow cooker, and let it simmer all day. When the busy evening arrived I didn't have to think about dinner!

This has been my go-to recipe for eight years. It is loosely based off of my favorite Boilermaker Chili recipe, minus the heat keep it family friendly, and less meat. The sage sausage and variety of herbs and spices make it mild enough for children, and flavorful for adults!

I am ready to dig in! I love sausage and could eat it for every meal. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. I haven't heard of Luck's beans before now. I will have to see if they carry them down here in Florida.
