Happy Pi {π} Day!

My kids are a bit young to understand what π is, but they do know what PIE is. Apple, Cherry, Berry, and Pumpkin are our family favorites. It is just the perfect dessert, and we love the varieties of crusts and flavors to try. So when I told them that March 14th was "Pi Day" they jumped on board. We even had individual chicken pot pies for dinner (see recipe below). A savory pie to serve on Pi Day and my kids LOVE them.

They are absolutely delicious with a delicious fruit filling and flaky crust. And they are the perfect size for an individual serving (they actually serve 2). The boys ate their whole pie and the girls ate a small section and saved the rest for later.
