Glitter Felt Headband

My girls love their hair accessories! They are “girlie girls” in every sense of the phrase. Glitter, pink, flowers, princesses. My favorite hair accessories are bows. Tiny classic bows. I have no talent, whatsoever, in styling my daughter’s hair. I brush it out and put it in a pony tail, pig tails, or a little clip.

Today I’m sharing a super quick tutorial for making a glitter headband. Make a rainbow of colors in a matter of minutes! They are perfect to add to a headband or clip.

Supplies:

felt scraps

hot glue

craft spray adhesive

fine glitter

headband

Cut out your felt pieces using the template. Bring the sides to the center and hot glue in place.

Glue that section to the banner shaped section.

Wrap with the small rectangle piece of felt and glue in the back to secure.

Apply a light coat of spray adhesive.

Sprinkle with fine craft glitter.

Attach to a headband or hair clip!

Simple is good. With 4 little ones to get ready and out the door I have to keep our morning routine quick and easy.

Goody Brushes (2)

Our staple hair brush in our home for the girls has been the Goody TangleFix. My sister told me about it several years ago and I went out and bought one right away. Kaylee and Ruby won’t let me brush their hair with anything else! Ours had a few puppy chew marks and the bristles were bent and broken so we went to Walgreens and picked up a new one. They were having a Buy 1 Get 1 sale so I grabbed a Goody QuikStyle brush for myself.

I air dry my hair so this brush is great for soaking up a bit of the moisture. It works great for the same purpose for the girls. So that their hair isn’t dripping wet. The curved shape makes it great for a quick blow dry too.

Goody Brush

I have never had an, “Ouch!” or “That hurts!” with our TangleFix hair brush. Kaylee’s hair goes from a matted mop to perfectly sleek without detangling spray or any product.

A quick run through with the QuikStyle and a scrunch and her naturally waves begin to set.

The deal from Walgreens is running from 9/28/14-11/01/14 for Balance Reward Card holders. You can sign up in-store to get a reward card for free. Goody Promotion While supplies last.
