Two things remind me of my childhood: Marshmallow Popcorn Balls and "The Land Before Time". Is it crazy that I pretty much know that movie by heart? I remember it coming out when I was in the first grade and it was HUGE. Every child knew who Little Foot was. Recently, the entire DVD collection was released and I figured it was time to introduce my kids to these beloved characters.

We made a quick stop at Walmart to pick up the ingredients for our movie night snacks (aka dinosaur eggs!). You can even form the popcorn balls around a tiny dinosaur toy as a fun surprise for the kids to find inside!

Looking for more dinosaur activities? You'll definitely want to check out this cute dinosaur hoodie tutorial or our dinosaur excavating activities post that includes dinosaur soap and dinosaur ice excavating! And no movie night is complete without a cozy pillow and blanket. Make your little one a dinosaur pillowcase using this easy tutorial!

Note: You can add mini dinosaur toys and mold the popcorn around them for a fun surprise! You can also add sprinkles or tint the marshmallows with food coloring before pouring them over the popcorn for colored dinosaur egg popcorn balls.
