Make Hot Chocolate in a Slow Cooker!
This delicious hot chocolate comes together quickly and is full of real chocolate flavor. No packets or powder here! The perfect pot of hot chocolate for a holiday hot chocolate bar!
If you’ve been around for a minute you know how much I enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate. We’ve made hot chocolate bombs—many times, frozen hot chocolate, and have even made our own marshmallows.
Crockpot Hot Chocolate Ingredients
The ingredients are simple, yet indulgent. I’m normally not too picky when it comes to chocolate chips in cookies and baking, but when making chocolate fondue or hot chocolate I highly recommend using Ghirardelli or Guittard chocolate chips. They melt down better than Toll House chocolate chips.
- half and half
- milk chocolate chips
- semi chocolate chips
Add everything to your large slow cooker and heat on low for 2 hours or until chocolate chips have melted completely. Stir. Taste, and add more chocolate chips if desired. Keep on warm setting while serving.
One batch makes 16 delicious cups of hot chocolate. Start a pot before dinner and enjoy it with the family for dessert! This is also a GREAT way to serve a crowd or to set on the table at a hot chocolate bar.
