New Year's Eve Party Spread
Once one holiday wraps up, the next is just around the corner! What do you do on New Year’s Eve? We always keep it simple: finger foods, family friendly games, sparkling apple cider, and movies. Sometimes we even do fondue.

New Year's Eve Party Spread
This year I picked out things that every family member loves and tied it all together in this fun party spread! I love cider and shrimp cocktail, my husband loves cheese and mini cheddar sausages, my girls love cheese and crackers, and my boys like crackers, cheese, and nuts.

The common theme here was cheese. I found these Cracker Barrel cheese trays at Walmart and they are perfect for entertaining! They are pre-cut and filled with the perfect variety of cheeses. Pepper jack for my 10 year old, sharp cheddar for my husband, and asiago and cheddar jack for everyone else (who aren’t as particular!).

New Year's Eve Party Spread
After having large feasts at Thanksgiving and Christmas, it’s nice to tone things down with a simple finger food table spread.

New Year's Eve Party Spread
Each hour, on the hour, the kids can open a New Year’s Eve party cracker with treats and activity ideas inside. These are really easy to make and fun to break open!

Supplies:

wrapping paper or toilet paper rolls

wrapping paper

tape

ribbon

candy and fillers

1. Pick out a variety of fillers. We used poppers, slips of paper with activity ideas like “Play kick the can”, “Watch a movie”, etc.

2. Cut a slit in the side of the paper roll to make it easy to break open later on.

3. Wrap paper roll in wrapping paper. Secure with tape. Tie one end with ribbon.

4. Fill with treats and tie the other side with ribbon.

5. Add a label, optional, with the hour on it (7:00, 8:00…12:00)

What a fun idea! November and December festivities just wipe me out so I love a simple NYE party idea! Cheese, crackers and pepperoni slices are generally my go-to party munchies, and I love your hourly party popper idea. That would definitely keep the kids (and the adults) occupied as we count down to the new year! (client)

I don’t decorate for Valentine’s Day (still re I don’t decorate for Valentine’s Day (still recovering from Christmas 😂), but I always have holiday candy on hand! This year I filled the jar with petite sour hearts after hearing how amazing they are from @triedandtruemoms. They were right, we are all fans over here! Maybe more places will stock them now that they are in such demand. I ordered mine from @candynationusa (don’t waste your time looking on Amazon. They are charging twice as much for less candy).

Today we made our favorite green smoothie. It’s all about balance—-just kidding. We all know that’s a lie. I have like 10 healthy recipes on my site and 800 breads and desserts. 😂

Tip: when buying produce, buy extra to freeze. I buy an extra pineapple, an extra package of grapes, an extra bunch of bananas and an extra bag of spinach and freeze them for smoothies. I slice everything up and freeze it on baking sheets then bag it up. It makes it easy to grab a handful to toss into a blender. You can freeze entire bags of spinach too and add a handful to smoothies. I always blend my spinach and water first then add the rest of the fruit. No little spinach chunks in the smoothie that way. 🙌🏻

A great project to work on during Christmas break. She’s making herself a pink one after Christmas. We bought several colors of bulky yarn at Walmart for $2.97 each. Each skein makes 1 hat.
