A Halloween lollipop topiary tree is a cute seasonal decoration for your home and a fun way to pass out candy to trick or treaters!

Halloween Lollipop Topiary
What lollipops work best for topiaries?
My favorite lollipops to use are Dum Dums and Tootsie Pops. We used Tootsie Pops in our patriotic lollipop topiary. I like finding holiday colored ones whenever possible. Regular Dum Dums work perfect for our Halloween tree because the candy corn gives enough of a Halloween look.
Supplies
- pot: any small pot will do as long as it is slightly smaller than the foam ball that will sit on top.
- styrofoam ball: again, the size will depend on the pot you are placing it on.
- 100+ dum dum lollipops: You definitely need more than you think so grab a giant bag!
- hot glue gun/sticks
- paint and foam brush (if painting your pot)
- clear spray paint
How To Make a Halloween Lollipop Topiary Tree
Halloween Lollipop Topiary Tree
Equipment
- hot glue gun/hot glue
Materials
- terracotta pot
- styrofoam balls domes would work too!
- lollipops a big bag
- acrylic or spray paint
- foam Brush
- clear spray paint
Instructions
- Paint your pots however you'd like. Spray paint or acrylic paint both work great. Let dry and apply a coat of clear spray paint to seal.
- Apply a thick line of hot glue to the rim of the pot.
- Add your styrofoam ball/dome and press firmly.
- Begin poking your lollipops into the styrofoam, placing them close together. Note: It is a bit deceiving when you start. It doesn't seem like you'll need very many, but it took over 120 lollipops to fill up this one ball.
- Find a great spot to display your cute lollipop tree!
