    decorative wash cloths for baby
I went to a baby shower a few weeks ago and the new mom received a pack of decorative wash cloths for baby. They were so simple and sweet and I thought to myself, "I could totally make those!"
decorative wash cloths for baby stacked
The baby wash cloths had been purchased from a boutique, but were simply made out of a wash cloth and a piece of flannel fabric. I loved that idea and thought my kids {and new baby} might like a set too!
These decorative baby wash cloths would make a great beginning sewing project for kids. They can design their own using their favorite fabric, or a make a set for a baby sibling.

i just made some of these earlier this week - but i used a minky type fabric for the washing surface! I love the idea of flannel on the back - they came out great! I'll be blogging them in a couple of days - here is a link to today's post with the matching baby blanket i made too!
