Favorite Supplies To Keep On Hand

Here is a collection of supplies that I always keep on hand for making cut-out cookies!

• Rolling pin
• Gel food coloring: You don't need as much gel food coloring as you do liquid food coloring, so it's easier to achieve bright colors with less product.
• Piping bags: You can spread frosting over the cookies, but I think it's actually easier to use piping bags and tips. I share all about that in my Christmas sugar cookie decorating post.
• Frosting tips: A basic set of round and star tips is all you need to make darling cookies.
• Light metal baking sheets: I prefer light metal to dark metal because the cookies bake evenly and don't get brown too quickly.
