Mini pumpkins, carved out with just enough space to add a set of vampire fangs. These little vampire pumpkins are perfect for Halloween and are absolutely hilarious!
If you like these, you'll LOVE our mini vampire donuts. Just as hilarious! You might also like our easy sock pumpkins. They take less than 10 minutes to make and are so fun for fall! For a gift idea, check out my easy velvet pumpkins tutorial!

Who wouldn't want one of these little guys in their Halloween decor? 😉 I saw them on Martha Stewart and thought they were hilarious. We had to make some! We did ours a little different, but the concept is the same. So fun, so easy, and will keep you laughing all month long.
What I Like About This Craft
- Easy to make: These vampire pumpkins come together in just minutes. Such a quick craft for Halloween.
- Will last for about a week: Depending on the storage conditions, they will last at least a week before becoming soft.
- Fun to give as gifts: My little guy brought one of these to school and gave it to his Kindergarten teacher. I bet it's the only one she ever received. She thought it was hilarious and kept it on her desk for quite a while!

Tips and Tricks
- Use a pumpkin carving knife if making these with children. For adults, a paring knife works well and gives nice, smooth cuts for the mouth. For children, a carving knife is safer.
- Decorate with craft paint. Kids can really let their creativity shine by painting the pumpkin first with craft paint. This is entirely optional. They can also add pipe cleaner hair or any other details they want!
Supplies

- Mini Pumpkins (gourds)
- Spoon
- Pumpkin carving knife
- Plastic fangs
- Craft eyes (adhesive eyes or craft eyes + glue)
See the how-to card at the end of the post for full information on supplies and quantities.
How To Make Vampire Pumpkins

Step 1: Carve a hole the same size as the little fangs. Remove the chunk to create a hole.

Step 2: Scoop out pumpkins guts with a spoon.

Step 3: Decorate the little pumpkins with craft eyes or permanent markers.
Vampire Pumpkins FAQs
Store you mini vampire pumpkin on a counter, away from direct sunlight. Storing indoors will keep it fresh longer as well.
If stored inside, they will last at least a week before going soft. You can also display them on your front porch for up to a week.

How fun would this be on a teacher's desk in October?
